Highlights from the 2018 Spring Studio Recital

It hardly seems possible, but the end of the school year is upon us, and that means end of the year recital time!
On Saturday, My 12th, sixteen Cavatina students participated in the Spring Studio Recital! This year the recital took place at Leaside United Church, and as the afternoon sunlight streamed through the gorgeous stain-glass windows, the sanctuary was filled with the sounds of beautiful violin music ringing from the rafters. The recital program featured a little bit of everything, from classical, to Harry Potter, to a few Broadway Musical show tunes, and an enjoyable time was had by one and all.
The evenings performances were expertly accompanied by pianist, Christopher Siu, and following the recital, a reception took place with lots of treats and the always popular cake by Celebrations Bakeshop was once again on hand!
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Spring Studio Recital! You all played so well, and should be very proud of both your performances, and a year of hard work!
