Youth Private Lessons
I offer personalized violin instruction for students ages 6-18, from beginners taking their first steps to advanced players refining their craft. Drawing from a variety of teaching resources, I create a tailored learning experience that supports each student's goals and needs.

During lessons, students develop a comprehensive understanding of music and violin playing, including:
Musicianship and note-reading
Tone production and expression
Left- and right-hand techniques
Performance skills and confidence
I aim to help each student discover their unique musical voice while cultivating a lifelong love of music—whether they play solely for personal enjoyment or aspire to a career in music.
Students are encouraged to participate in twice-yearly studio recitals to develop their performance skills and build confidence on stage. For those interested in further performance activities, I also support and guide students through Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations, festivals, competitions, youth orchestra and summer festival auditions, and other performance activities.
Lessons are conducted one-on-one on a recurring weekly basis. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, I offer both in-person lessons at my studio space and virtual instruction, connecting with students throughout North America and Asia, including the United States, China, and Saudi Arabia.
